I used krylon satin finish spray paint in ivory. The easiest way is to do this is to use a good quality spray paint. There s no need to do the sides since they ll be hiding inside the hole. The vent pipe must overlap at each joint to prevent gas from leaking.

But they stick out like a sore thumb don t they. 2 coats coming from one direction and then 2 coming from the other direction to get under all the slanted bits. Audio playback not supported. Adhere to them even if you are building the vent on your own.

Gas furnaces usually come with their own specifications. Your choice of colors unless the city or hoa has restrictions on what colors to use. This is also often recommended for water heater or furnace vents if pvc material. These pipes can be easily painted to blend in with your roof color.

I did 4 light coats with about 5 minutes of drying time in between. Some are plumbing vents others serve as vents for appliances. Starting at the furnace connect the various pipes by using the elbow joints working your way towards the chimney. Those pipes you see on your roof serve an important purpose.

Run the vent pipe up through the roof and install a metal or pvc flashing collar over it.
